Every now and then it's good to remind folks that we are willing to answer just about any questions you may have.  It's true, we are.

Now, you may be thinking to yourself that asking a question only reveals your ignorance and will bring shame on you and anyone connected to you.

Allow me to suggest another way of thinking about this.

Every time you ask one of those questions that seems very basic, there's going to be at least 3 or 4 people out there breathing a huge sigh of relief and saying to themselves, "Oh my God, that's exactly what I was wondering but I was too embarrassed to ask."

So, by asking, you are proving yourself to be a person of great courage.  True.

Besides, 3 years ago, I didn't know the difference between a ribband and a spare rib.  I asked tons of questions, and now I don't get splinters in my teeth from eating barbeque.  It's a welcome change.

So, feel free to ask anything you like in the comments section of any of these entries.  We'll try to get back to you quickly and as accurately as possible.  And if it's still unclear, or what we said it plain wrong, comment on that again.  It's how we all learn!

Re: No Dumb Questions

Tom,
Congratulations on your Shutter Party! The Cherokee Crew has certainly earned it... Since this has been such a collaborative effort spanning six+ months, could you provide an idea of how many collective hours this endeavor has encompassed? Thanks,
Wendy

Re: No Dumb Questions

Excellent question! I'll chat with David about this, but the numbers might be a bit sketchy since we've had some IYRS students helping out during the summer, and some were volunteers. That meant that their hours were probably not recorded in the same way as were the paid staff. As you know, we've also had varying numbers of folks working on the project over the past 6 months, some folks part time, some full. Nevertheless, I'll talk with David and see what we can come up with!
